I purchased this fountain to use in my office. This is a little large for my desk but I can easily hear and get mesmorized by the water falling down the slate tiles... The materials are pretty solid and appear to be well made.

There are a few flaws though in the design, it's difficult to ensure the resovir is filled properly since you add water to the resovir after you have screwed it closed (if you follow instructions step by step). It's difficult to see how much water is in the resovir. You may want to read through the instructions first and tailor to your needs / preferences. The box says up in 15 minutes and the instructions say up in 20, I'd say it was about 30 minutes but well worth the time for how nice this fountain is - the first day two people had to have the same fountain especially since so many others within the same price range are plastic and flimsy.

I bought one and assembled it. An hour later, I ordered 2 more. This is an excellant product at a steal for the price. High quality, low price. You don't get that very much any more.

I really wish I had ordered two, one for work and one for home. We really sleep better at night with the tranquility water fountain running. I turn it on right before bedtime and turn it off when I rise in the morning. Sleeping while listening to water is great relaxation therapy. Take your time and read the directions and you'll be happy with this purchase. The only thing is the light is white not yellow as in the photo, a really great item for the price. Enjoy!

took almost a hour it was hard to put together
once done its great and relaxing It could of came with more rocks all came with mine was 6 rocks
