Hose reel was greart for the high pressure water water hose for our heavey equipment cleaning dept. Great addition to the high pressure steam cleaner.Made handling of hose and storage of hose much easeier.

The construction is good, however a better design would be to have a bracket to house a longer hose from the spigot to the cart. Since it is on wheels it would be nice to push the cart closer to the location....if you do that, you need a longer hose on the other side. The way it is designed you can only push the cart as far as the hose from the spigot will allow.

I have been looking for a hose reel for a while[...] I decided to get my order in. During the winter, I have to water my horses twice a day. After I get done with the hose, I have always had to wind them up manually and put them in my heated bathroom to keep them from freezing.Now I can just reel them up pn my heavy duty hose reel and wheel them in the bathroom. I no longer have to carry heavy hoses. Thanks for making my job easier.

Just use it to hook up to an outside well hydrant. In no time it started leaking and now the seal inside is in pieces and it leaks bad. Need to know how to fix it.

this hose reel cart is everything they said it was and much more. it holds more hose footage than anyother reel of its kind. And is so easy to use, it unwinds just as easy as it winds up. And with the large numatic tires it very easly rolls across any terrain. We like the way it handles and works so well that we have two of them.

This is by far the best hose reel that I have owned. The plastic reels I've own only last for 2yrs. before they start breaking and fall apart. This reel goes easly agross rough surfaces.

Often need to water yard plants and don't want to pay for an installed irrigation system, so I was pulling around 150+ feet of hose over the yard. This hose cart looked like a good idea, and was the cheapest one I found. Seemed heavy in the box, but I soon found out why. This thing is solid, and the wheels don't pivot so you can position it and pull the hose out sideways and this cart will stay put. When rolling in the hose I was first disappointed that there was not some sort of handle to direct the hose onto the spool evenly, but I soon learned to use my left hand to move one end of the cart slightly to continually align the spool with the incoming hose, and I can wind the whole 160 feet of hose evenly on the spool in a few seconds. The big cushy handle and tool basket are both big pluses. What can I say, it performs better than I hoped it would.

I have had this cart for about 3 months and overall I'm please with it; but I do have some concerns. First, on the plus side it does a great job of storing my hoses and I can recoil about 250' of hose with ease, even if the hose is full of water. I like the big handle and reel because you can recoil a lot of hose with one revolution of the handle. I would estimate that I can coil 250' of hose with just about 40 turns of the oversized handle. I also like the basket accessory because I find it a useful place to store various hose sprayers and fittings. The wire basket makes it convenient to hang other items as well. I finally found a place to hang the bundle of hose washers that I never seemed able to keep track of before I had this cart. The oversized wheels are really nice and make moving the cart over rough terrain a simple task. I have a 100' inclined, pea stone driveway and this cart makes short work of getting the hose moved around.
On the negative side, after 3 months, I'm noticing the some parts are beginning to rust. Specifically, the area where my hose hooks into the reel. Also, there is some spot rust on the handle and the housing for the two bushing assemblies on the reel is starting to rust. This has made me become concerned about the longevity of the cart. The cart's handle comes with a black rubber cap that easily pops off, especially if I'm a bit overzealous in spinning the handle. Also, I find that that as I pull the hose from the reel and then stop, the reel has a tendency to continue to free-wheel which has resulted in unwinding more hose that I needed and a few times this lead to the hose getting tangled up under the cart. Finally, assembly of the cart was pretty straight forward but the assemble instructions were a bit confusing so they quickly ended up on the garage floor and instead I relied on common sense and some intuition. Total assemble, from box to watering the flowers took about 30 mins.
Overall, it s a quality hose cart and I have recommended it to several neighbors.

This hose reel cart is very heavy duty. It is very easy to move around. I would definitely recommend this product. I water plants and flowers in a large development with this hose reel cart. It helps me to get my job done faster than using a smaller cart.

Well thought out design, sturdy materials and easy assembly.

In comparing this hose cart to my old one, it is better in every respect. The pneumatic tires make it easy to roll. The materials are more hefty and better put together than my old cart. Assembly was fast and easy.

There might be better hose carts at higher prices, but this one is very good and is an outstanding value.

If you are going to use this reel rigourously at all (pulling it on and off a truck, etc), or even if you're not, it is not the choice. It took the metal components a year and a half (with occasionally pulling it on and off a truck) to rust out and break. Piece of junk if you ask me. Of course I am using it professionally, but only seasonally, AND that's keeping it in a garage!!!

We use 100 foot hoses to water our indoor tennis courts. Up to this point we have used boxes that are made out of heavy plastic. We continually had issues with the boxes breaking and difficulty with rewinding the hose after use. The reel cart solved these issues for us. Though they are bigger and less attractive than an enlcosed box (for our purposes) the cart is much more practical.

This cart will hold A LOT of hose and unlike most carts, with the four large wheels, it is very easy to move . Rewinding is also easy with the crank giving good leverage and it is easy to control uniform rewinding. My only dissatisfaction is with the paint flakeing off. But at the price of the cart it is still a good value even after adding the cost of a little spray paint.

This is used every day in the operation and holds up well. It can take the bumps of everyday work. Sometimes leaks from the connections, but usually you have to use a wrench to fix. Overall for the price a great deal and value.

This is a nice heavy hose cart. My only complaints are that the tires don't hold air very well and the accompanying supply hose is flimsy. Crank is big enough to provide plenty of leverage to wind up even large heavy-duty hoses and it holds quite a lot of hose easily.

I know this is a quality product, I have one that I have been using for over a year. Very well made, heavy duty and worth the price. Others on the market cost much more. The most recent purchase hasn't arrived yet, due to a back order, but I anticipate it to be the same as the first. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a durable hose reel designed for hard everyday use.

I have the second one of these after another brand hose reel collapsed after one year. My first one is three years old and works fine . No signs of deteroriation or problems with it.

After two years, the center shaft rusted through. No replacement parts were available through Northern Tool. Do not watse your money on this item. Nice idea, poor performance.
