I bought these not sure if they would work or not, but they really do. I have limited use of my left arm due to an injury and I can use these straps to help my husband lift heavy things around the house. Great product!!

I have a bad back and always feel guilty seeing my husband struggle to move things. I bought these straps and I can't believe how I am now able to help move things so easily without getting hurt or feeling uncomfortable. I was shocked to see that these worked so well. This is an item every home should have without exception. Great stocking stuffer, home warming gift, anytime gift. Neighbors are always borrowing. I plan to buy more as Christmas gifts. We used the straps to help us move ourselves / to save thousands from paying professional movers. What's great is that I used them with my sons, daughter and wife. We loved them. The only bad thing about these is that I lent them to our new neighbor, because he owns a painting business, but he hasn't returned them yet.

I saw these advertised on television and recently had a dormer put on my house. I had 2 bedrooms worth of stuff to move. I found the Forearm forklift to be very useful and comfortable to use. Once you have some confidence in the product it is great for moving heavy items that you really can't get a good handhold on. I found this especially useful moving a china closet. For the price I think that the product is a homerun.

The product is light and easy to transport. I saw a couple of guys delver a refriderator with a similar product and decided to purchase these for moving office furnature. They have worked quite well so far.

I recieved them for christmas. Used them around the house and on the job. Its amazing how easy they are to use and how lite things seam to be while using them. They are a real back saver!! One of the tools you get as a gift that you remember who got it for you!!

Not 2 weeks after we bought the forearm forklifts we had a bad storm and had to move many pieces of heavy furniture out of water damaged homes. The straps made everything move quickly and easily saving us time and back pain. They are easy to use with three different holes on each end so you can adjust to the right spot for you. At first I thought it would hurt your arms, but even with the heaviest items it never hurt at all. This is a great product and is well worth the purchase

Hello. Bought two strapes for my move. Have to say that moving with the strapes made it much, much easier!! Also use it for moving drywall and many construction objects. Reccomend this product to anybody that is moving or just misc work around the home and office.

They made the overall move of furniture go smoother. The only thing I would change would be the size of the armholes. My muscular friend had problems keeping the straps on his forearms. Other than that, they were GREAT!

Great idea that works very well on bulky items. Works realy well on bedding.

I ordered this for an up-coming move. Best choice I made in preparations! The large entertainment center needed 4 people to move by hand when put in place. We moved it out with the Forearm Forklift Strap with only 2 people. Easy on the back, real easy to handle and steady the object, and simple to use. Small older women also used it with no problems with 50-100 lbs objects.

Watching the overhead clearance was the only hangup. The longer models or the extender would have been nice for that. I will always keep a set handy for any move!

All-in-all, this is a good product (and NorthernTool offers it at an excellent price). I used this to move an old, heavy file cabinet, a very heavy side-by-side fridge and a less heavy over-under fridge. In each situation, it definitely performed adequately.

Pros:
- Easy to maneuver large, heavy items in tight spaces.
- Permits you to share the load with a partner.
- Much easier to move items over uneven surfaces that would be a nightmare with a dolly (such as grass).

Cons:
- The straps are a little short. Two 6' tall men sometimes found themselves bent over when we crossed the straps for greater stability. Bending with these devices is very bad and puts stress on your back. It might have worked better if we didn't cross them and instead took our chances on the webbing slipping.
- Steps are very, very difficult with these. We carried the ~300lb fridge up 3 short steps on my deck and it was brutal.

Lessons Learned:
- Take extra time to make sure that you have evenly distributed the length of the straps (i.e. make sure one person isn't short and the other long).
- Consider using a dolly on stairs in tandem with these devices. Clearly, these straps can be an improvement over a dolly on surfaces like grass -- but I recommend you stick with a dolly for stairs.

I was skeptical when we ordered these, but they don't cost a lot and knew we needed some kind of help. We received them, used them, love them and now I'm recommending them. My co-worker and I are always laughing because we're so out of shape, but I have to admit that we felt like professional movers. These straps work (even down staircases too)!

I gave these a try thinking these could not be this easy. But they are. I move a lot of appliances and have used an appliance dolly for years. This is a much better way to go when you can have two people available to move an item. Getting into tight places is much easier than a dolly, and faster too. You eliminate the time taken to strap/unstrap the appliance to the dolly etc. And there is less strain on your body when going up and down stairs.

These straps make moving large, heavy, hard to get a hold -on things a breeze. This time I bought two pair because someone usually "borrows" mine permanently. but I can't blame them.

When I first saw these offered I thought, no way, but I was going to be lifting a lot soon so I bought a pair because they were so affordable. Boy did they work great, even on the stairs too. The moral to my story is, when in doubt...
Now you fill in the blanks. As for me and my helper, we can't ever imagine moving furniture and appliances again without these and as a carpet cleaner I'm always carrying stuff in to other rooms or outside before I get started.
Dang, I wish I would've bought these lifting straps from you guys. You guys sell them $6 cheaper.
