Comments about Koolatron Electronic Bug Vacuum:

Until you have bug phobia you can not truly appreciate this product. This works! If you feel there is not enough suction as some reviews stated, take off the end cup and just use the tube. I have had one for 2 years and am buying another for a friend who is terrified of spiders. I live out in the sticks and have seen everything from moths to scorpions. I have yet to see a bug get away from it. I did take off the end cup because the straight tube has more suction. I like the distance you can be away from the critter and still get it. Very easy to get bugs off the ceiling or from corners. This is a must for anyone who hates bugs and does not have someone else to do the dirty work. I will purchase several more for gifts.

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Koolatron Electronic Bug Vacuum:

This could have been a great product if it produced enough suction and electric shock to catch and kill a spider. I bought this for my wife and three daughters who all have a fear of spiders and insects. In order to catch most small insects you have to remove half of the wand and hold it perfectly flush to wall just to suck in a bug. When and if you eventually trap anything you will have to put your hand over the end of tube and hold it for quite sometime to zap it. I definately would not reccommend this product.
