When friends and family come over we pop in the "fireplace " DVD. Everyone is in awe and sometimes joke about "stray sparks", but as the evening progresses everyone comments on how lifelike it is, how relaxing it is , and how they can almost feel heat coming off the TV screen. Because it's on a continuous loop , it plays until you take it out. I have seen competitive products, but this one is done so that it looks and sounds like the real thing !
