This silly product has been so much fun. I have been using it for over 5 months and I love it. I have used it to remind visitors to watch out for pets who try to escape and to celebrate birthdays. The unit is easy to relocate and simple to install. Replacing a message is very easy and fun to exchange jokes.
But, I don't like having to take down the unit to use the little bitty lock switch on the back of the unit. And not locking the unit can result in the message being inadvertently erased. This little flaw does not reduce the strong recommendation for the fun this unit offers. I'm ordering more of them to give as gift's.

Very handy message board without the chalk.. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, well so is a verbal note that can be heard and not read. It's handy, out of the way and doesn't take up unnecessary space. The batteries seem to last forever. Very easy to instal and a simple flip of the switch will give you all the info someone has left. Very good deal, price and product. Don't let the plastic base fool you, this product is durable.

We've had this product for years and love it. Our grandchildren love to leave us messages whenever they visit. We have ours by the back door and check it for messages whenever we come home. The only downside is if it is not dark outside we don't always turn on the light and therefore miss the message. But we have come to know to check the light switch if someone isn't home and should be. (It would be nice to have a flickering light that alerts you to a waiting message.) Easy to record, good clear sound, 20 seconds is usually more than enough time to leave your quick message. Can be recorded over and over easily without loss of quality. Be careful not to hit the erase button by accident, if you are not wanting to erase your message. (It is a simple push of the button and it's erased, so caution is advised.) Love this product, it is not only practical but fun!
