tried lots of sharpeners (at wife's urging) and never could get it right. swore this would be the last and it is. one quick pass (i'm not mechanically minded) and the cooking knives are terrific. doing friends' knives too (maybe i should get a little truck with bells and drive around). len s

im a butcher,so i always need a super sharp knive.i have tryed all types of sharpeners and this one by far is the best.once you get the right bevel its a peice of cake.thats just what this does.very pleased

As a long time knife collector and chef, This is the BEST knife sharpening tool I own, and I own 8 or 10 different sharpeners.
It is the only sharpener I've ever used that I felt did a good job on scissors as well as ALL my knives.
Also very easy to use. Requires no experience.

I have put the sharpener through a lot of use and it never faltered. I quickly sharpens knives and tools. I sharpened every knife in the house in the amount of time it use to take me to sharpen one or two before.

I am buying some and giving them away for fathers day.

I am a fisherman, hunter,trapper and worked as a pofesional skinner for a fur buyer! i wish I had something like this years ago! I have bought all kinds of sharpeners and this one is the best i've had in 40 years! The easiest and fastest sharpener i've ever used,i have app.80 knives of many diferent kinds at handles them all,with in minutes I made all of them sharp enough not only to shave with but the hair on your arm just jumps off! The only thing i would change is when you replacement belts you get 2 tool ,2 knife sharner.and 2 honeing belts,i would like to be able to buy several knife and honeing belts instead. It does a great job on sissors(makes them like new) and tools like macheties and hedge clippers! I love it!!

I sharpened Every knife in the house & scissors. Also polished up Antique scissors that were rusty! But I already wore out the red sharpening belt so now I have to order more.

I was not born with the gift of being able to sharpen a knife with just a stone, and have been on a 40 year quest to find the perfect sharpener. That quest has ended with the purchase of the Work Sharp WSKTS. Within minutes of removing it from the package, every knife in my kitchen was factory sharp, including those fancy German hardened steel knives. The abilty to switch to belts with finer grit allows you to get knives razor sharp. I also tackled all of the household scissors, but the results were not as dramatic as with the knives. Although there are other advertised uses for the grinder that I haven't tried, I am thoroughly satisfied with my purchase's ability to sharpen knives, and highly recommend it for any of those, who like me, lack the gift of being able to use a whet stone. A word of caution though, after using this tool, be sure and warn folks that your knives are sharp!
