These seat warmers are a great way to warm up quickly for those of us without garages or vehicles with built-in seat warmers. The only downside is that if you forget to unplug them, you will have a dead battery in the morning. They advertise an automatic shutoff, but I guess that is just a safety feature because they will run as long as your battery allows.

I bought this for my wife for Christmas. We leased a car and didn't want to increase our payments by more than $20 per month by adding the heated seats package but we live in the frozen north and it is something that we use 6 months out of the year, this was a great option! For less than the cost of one months additional payment for the heated seat package she now has a heated seat and uses it every day. I was surprised at how well it works, you can feel it on your butt and on your back, even through your winter coat. Obviously it would be better not to have the cord to plug in but for the savings it was a great solution for us. One note, if you have a vehicle where the cigarette lighter still works after you shut off the engine make sure you remember to unplug it or it will drain the battery.
