I needed a single roof rack that I could install when I needed to take my 16ft canoe to the lake and this roof rack was great. I did not need a roof rack install all the time because I do not have the clearance that would allow me to come into the garage when I park my truck. The rack is easy easy i.e. easy to install and easy to remove.

This thing is great - there when you need, stored in the bed when you don't. I use it to haul my canoe around in conjuntion with my Extend-A-Truck hitch mounted ladder support. I love not hearing the whitslte of a permanently mounted ladder rack. Better gas mileage too cause you can take it off when you don't need it.
