This grill remind me of the cookouts we went on when we cooked on park grills as a kid. The taste and smell that absorbs in the metal keeps that flavor each time you cook. It really brings back memories.

The model I purchased looks a bit more beefy that the one offered here, but I paid for the difference. While I am very happy with what I have, this is basically the same design and I can't see where the functionality would be compromised. Burns wood as well as charcoal well.

Well, it is easy to put together and very sturdy,durable and we just wanted to have one in our back yard, for a good old fashioned charbroiled flavor cook out. Forgot how to time the charcoal to get to the right temp to start the burgers/steaks, but that was only the first time, since then we are really enjoying the grill, and love the roasted marshmellows in our back yard, not just at a public park! Definately would recommend.

I mounted mine on an old car wheel so I could move it anywhere. left the pin out so I could clean the ashes easily and also couls rotate the head depending on the wind. I will load this up and take it anywhere I choose. super buy

Set up grill in backyard, next to lake. Did not install the pin to allow turning of the grill top based on wind direction. This also allows removal of the grill for the winter, or use a grill cover for protection. Concreted the pole in for stability. Quite a conversation piece during picnics and very functional as well.
Delivery was prompt and the grill arrived in perfect condition will all parts and assemb;y instructions included.

The functionallity is awesome and it is a great conversational piece. I did not install the anti-theft pin at the end in case I ever needed to remove the grill from the post for any reason. After installation the grill rotates freely around. I wasn't to thrilled about this so I lined up the grill where I wanted it and drilled two more holes into the post. I found an old silicone gun I had laying around and cut off the pull rod using it as a pin to hold the grill stationary. If I ever need to rotate it, just pull out the pin! Make sure you run a batch of charcoal through it without cooking anything to cure it as the paint on the grill rack comes off in the heat. I also use an aluminum pan to put the charcoal in to make cleanup a breeze. I highly recommend this grill.
