I own a condo on a lake in Kentucky. I have a lot of buddies who also own a home on the same lake. We always pack our lunch in coolers. They told me I was crazy to get a grille and cook out because thats not what they do. Well, they were wrong and envious of my portable, compact grille

As stated above, the unit is practical. However it takes patience to use. The legs are flimsy, the fold down sides don't collapse correctly so it makes getting unit in bag difficult. Nice large cooking surface.

Definate space saver. Folds down to a couple inches tall. Legs/stands weak in material. Folding box mecanicism works well.

WOW! I really wasn't expecting much from this grill but it is WELL WORTH the money. I made steaks, brats and chicken in no time! When I first took the grill out of the box I thought 'this is WAY too flimsy' but it was a pleasant surprise to see it hold up. You can put the charcoals either under or on top of the charcoal grate. I put heavy duty foil on the bottom because I absolutely HATE cleaning grills but this one is so easy. All I had to do was lift it and throw it away when I was done, and the cooking grate was sprayed with Pam so it wasn't that hard to clean. When it came time to put it away it took all of 2 minutes to throw away the foil, take the grates off and fold it back up and put it in the carrying case. It took me 5 minutes to wash the grates. I would give this 5 stars for this alone.
Although it came pretty quickly it did arrive a bit banged up. Two of the corners were damaged, one needing to be hammered out so the top grill & Slide peg would fit properly and the other, well...it wasn't all that noticable and it didn't seem to affect anything other than asthetically. Also, one of the silver braces holding the folded side panels needed some prodding to get off. These were really minor and that's the ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
