Shipping options vary depending on the type and quantity of merchandise you choose to buy and your shipping address.
Whenever possible Kotula's ships via a ground carrier (such as UPS). Large or heavy items must be shipped "truck freight" (semi-trailer or flat-bed, not UPS). For an additional fee (charged by the carrier), trucks with lift-gates can be arranged to move your products from the bed of the truck to the ground, at that point it will be up to you to move the product. The carrier will call and schedule the delivery.
If I have an item shipped by truck freight is the driver responsible for unloading the merchandise?
No, truck freight companies do not require their drivers to unload shipments. An additional lift gate charge will apply if the driver unloads the merchandise. The carrier will call and schedule the delivery when you'll have unloading help on hand.
If I order more than one item and an item is back-ordered, do I get charged for shipping twice?
Yes, each package is charged shipping when it leaves. However, you are not charged any additional shipping from what was quoted at the time of the order. The shipping cost is prorated.
When can a trace be initiated on my shipment?

How do I return or exchange an item?
Call our Customer Service at 1-800-771-3510 to acquire a return or exchange authorization. Kotula's can not accept responsibility for damage incurred after a customer has signed for the merchandise in good condition. In addition, go-karts, mini-bikes, scooters, night vision and some winches are non-returnable. Returns of "Factory Shipped" items will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
What is your return policy?
Items can be returned within 45 days. Refunds are for the cost of product only. After 45 days, the item is subject to warranty and must be authorized by a customer service representative by calling 1-800-771-3510 (7AM to 6PM Central Time, Monday - Friday).

What are the warranties on merchandise?
Products not manufactured by Kotula's are warranted by the manufacturer. Call the nearest service center if you have any questions on merchandise care. Neither Kotula's nor the manufacturer may be held responsible for customer misuse of merchandise. If you call or write about defective merchandise, we must have the invoice number of the item.

What is your payment policy?
Checks received with orders will be deposited upon receipt. We reserve the right to verify funds with your bank before shipping which may cause a delay of up to ten (10) business days. There is a $20 service charge for all returned checks. All orders are processed assuming they will be shipped complete. However, backorders do occur; these items will be shipped as we receive them. All Non-truck orders paid by credit card will be charged when the order has shipped.

- Please make sure all required fields are completed including the type of exemption you are claiming. Incomplete forms will not be accepted.
- A copy of your business sales tax permit is not an acceptable substitute for the state-approved form.

Kotula's can not accept returns of gas or diesel-powered items once said items have been oiled and/or gassed. If said items have been gassed or oiled they need to be taken to an authorized service center for repair which may be covered under warranty.
At Kotula's's sole discretion, Kotula's may impose a fifteen percent (15%) restocking fee on items returned. Returns of "Factory Shipped" items will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
